Hyperbaric medicine provided at HBOT Clinics is fully covered Alberta Health; there are no user fees or copayments. HBOT Clinics provides treatment to patients referred by their physicians for those medical conditions approved by the Calgary Health Region and the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta.
Upon referral, patients are given a physical assessment for contra-indications to hyperbaric oxygen therapy. An application for funding is then made to the relevant health region to cover the cost of therapy. Treatment will commence shortly thereafter.
